About the Bishop & First Lady

Broderick Christopher Johnson was born September 29, 1987. He is the oldest of Four children. At the tender age of 7, Broderick was saved and filled with the precious gift of the Holy Ghost. Broderick accepted the calling to minister God's word and preached his first sermon January 21, 2001 and was ordained as an elder in May 2005. He was a faithful and active member to his home church; The City of Hope Church, where he served as youth president, chairman of finance and one of the chief adjutants to Bishop James L. Johnson Jr. 
He was schooled in the Detroit Public school system and a class of 2005 graduate of Cass Technical High School. While remaining dedicated to his church obligations he never lost sight of his personal goals and by the grace of God, graduated Magna Cum Laude with an Associate of Arts degree in June 2011 from Wayne County Community College. On September 8, 2013 he was installed as the Pastor of Precious Spirit Ministries located in Detroit, MI. 
While pastoring, In December of 2013 he graduated with honors from Marygrove College in Detroit with a BA in History and Political Science. Pastor Broderick was blessed with an opportunity to attend Destiny Christian University. In 2016, under the guidance of the Holy spirit, the church name was changed to Light of the World Deliverance Ministries. In 2020, after coming back from deaths door and  defeating Covid-19 with the prayers of the righteous and power of the Holy Spirit he led the church into a new facility located at 8401 Puritan Detroit, Mi. 48238. Allowing the ministry to enlarge their territory and have a greater impact in the kingdom. It is his desire and to fulfill Gods plan of opening two more churches, one in Pontiac and the other in Dearborn. 
In 2017, he graduated with a master’s degree in Theology. Continuing his education, he is currently completing courses to obtain his Doctor of Divinity from Overcomer’s Destiny School of Ministry a satellite campus of Destiny Christian University located in Florida. He currently serves as a professor and program lead for the Bachelor program. 
Currently Pastor Johnson serves as the 1st assistant to Bishop Charles F. Owens in Overcomer’s International Churches & Ministries. Pastor Johnson has chaired conferences, trained leaders and provided support & leadership in his role. 
He is happily married to the love of his life, best friend, business and ministry partner Pastor Aggie Johnson, and the father to Peyton Rebecca. Pastor Johnson is a true definition of a millennial leader who preaches and practices  holiness and righteousness. Daily he strives to live a life of sacrifice, humbleness and servitude to God in any office he ascends too. He is a firm believer that age does not limit his ability to  walk under the anointing and leadership of God! Pastor B. Johnson was consecrated as a Bishop in the Lord's church on August 28, 2022 in Detroit, MI.
Aggie Johnson was born September 29, 1987. She is the youngest of two children to Golden & Lisa Jones. At the age of 8, Aggie was baptized by the late Reverend Robert L. Johnson Jr, pastor of Greater Sonora MBC located in Detroit, MI. As a youth, she served faithfully as a junior nurse to her pastor. After the passing of Rev. Johnson, the church was lead by Bishop Johnnie L. Moore later known as Soaring Eagle Ministries. Aggie continued working diligently in ministry within the youth department, choir, dance ministry, trustee board, and nursing board.
Aggie was enrolled in the Detroit Public School system throughout her life and granted with honors from Redford High School in 2005. After high school she attended to the care of her nieces and nephew while working and focusing on ministry and was licensed as missionary in 2009. Within that same year, she developed a friendship with Elder Broderick Johnson, as they bonded through ministry work for their local organization. They soon discovered they shared the same birthday and continued to build upon their friendship. In 2010, after much fasting and praying together, Broderick and Aggie grew closer and were later engaged. 
The two were married September 2011. Aggie began to pursue her education in mental health in 2012 at Oakland Community College. In 2013 she became the First Lady of Precious Spirit Ministries, later known as Light of the World Deliverance Ministries. While being devoted to ministry and to her husband, she graduated with an Associates degree in 2014 in Social Work/Mental Health from Oakland Community College. In 2015, she gave birth to their daughter, Peyton Rebecca. Aggie was employed full time at Henry Ford Health System for 8 years. Remaining committed to ministry and family, Aggie returned to expand her education and enrolled at Wayne State University. In 2020, Aggie graduated with a 3.9 GPA obtaining her bachelor's degree in Social Work as she triumphed over many obstacles including her husband being hospitalized for 45 days battling Covid-19.
With determination, the support of family, the church, and the help of God, she graduated ten months later from Wayne State University Summa Cum Laude 4.0 GPA with her Masters in Social Work. Currently, she works for a private practice in her field as a Licensed Clinical Therapist. Because of God's grace and provision, with these accomplishments along with those of her husband, has permitted the birthing of Sound Mind Christian Counseling Services, LLC- a clinical approach to therapy with biblical principles.
